FKIK Unismuh Strengthens Quality Commitment through Internal Audit Management Review Meeting (RTM)
MAKASSAR — The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar held the Internal Quality Audit Management Review Meeting (RTM AMI) for the 2024–2025 Academic Year on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. This agenda served as a strategic forum to evaluate achievements and formulate concrete steps for continuous improvement in education, research, and community service quality.
The meeting, held within the FKIK environment, aimed to review the effectiveness of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), measure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and Additional Performance Indicators (IKT), and identify opportunities and risks in the management of the faculty and its study programs. RTM plays a vital role in FKIK’s strategy to face accreditation challenges and realize its vision of becoming a leading Islamic higher education institution in the field of emergency medicine.
Dr. Bramantyas Kusuma Hapsari, M.Sc., Chair of FKIK’s Quality Control Unit (GKM), opened the session by emphasizing the importance of full academic commitment to maintaining and enhancing quality. Meanwhile, the Dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), in her opening remarks, highlighted that quality should not only be seen from the internal achievements of each study program but also from the services provided to both internal and external stakeholders.
“Student academic success and efforts to prevent delayed graduation must be a top priority, as these reflect institutional performance both nationally and internationally,” said Prof. Suryani.
The RTM was attended by the deanery team, heads and secretaries of study programs (Medical Education, Medical Profession, Nursing Diploma, Midwifery Diploma, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Midwifery, and Midwifery Profession), the GKM team, AMI team, tracer study teams, and several unit heads within FKIK. The involvement of multiple stakeholders demonstrated a collective commitment to quality.
The main sessions of the RTM included the presentation of follow-up results from the previous year’s AMI, achievements and findings of the current AMI, and risk identification such as low faculty involvement in international research and challenges in achieving on-time graduation. The discussion session was interactive, revealing several solutions and best practices across study programs.
The meeting produced an actionable and measurable Follow-Up Plan (RTL), with clearly defined responsibilities. Strategic RTL points included the revision of the Human Resource Development Master Plan (RIP), development of learning and training facilities, enhanced implementation of MoAs and expansion of collaboration, as well as coordination among units (UP2M, laboratories, HR, MEU, SAU, and the Ethics Committee) for centralized data collection and monitoring.
Strategic issues such as increasing the number of doctoral-level lecturers and optimizing research funding were also discussed with a long-term planning approach, involving full support from the UPPS and the university.
All outcomes from the RTM will be documented within FKIK’s internal quality assurance system, which is integrated with a periodic monitoring and evaluation mechanism. FKIK Unismuh is committed to continuous improvement and innovation in producing excellent and Islamic graduates capable of making real contributions in emergency medicine and public health services.
FKIK Unismuh Mantapkan Komitmen Mutu lewat RTM Audit Internal
MAKASSAR — Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menyelenggarakan Rapat Tinjauan Manajemen (RTM) Audit Mutu Internal (AMI) untuk Tahun Akademik 2024–2025, Selasa 15 Juli 2025. Agenda ini menjadi forum strategis dalam mengevaluasi capaian dan merumuskan langkah konkret peningkatan mutu pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.
Rapat yang digelar di lingkungan FKIK ini bertujuan meninjau efektivitas sistem penjaminan mutu internal (SPMI), mengukur capaian indikator kinerja utama (IKU) dan indikator kinerja tambahan (IKT), serta mengidentifikasi peluang dan risiko dalam pengelolaan fakultas dan program studi. RTM menjadi bagian penting dari strategi FKIK dalam menghadapi tantangan akreditasi dan mewujudkan visi sebagai perguruan tinggi Islam terkemuka di bidang kegawatdaruratan.
Ketua Gugus Kendali Mutu (GKM) FKIK, dr. Bramantyas Kusuma Hapsari, M.Sc., membuka kegiatan dengan menekankan pentingnya komitmen seluruh unsur akademik dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan mutu. Sementara itu, Dekan FKIK, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), dalam arahannya menegaskan bahwa mutu tidak hanya dilihat dari pencapaian internal program studi, tetapi juga dari pelayanan kepada mitra, baik internal maupun eksternal.
“Keberhasilan studi mahasiswa dan antisipasi keterlambatan kelulusan harus menjadi prioritas, karena hal tersebut mencerminkan kinerja institusi di tingkat nasional maupun internasional,” ujar Prof. Suryani.
RTM dihadiri oleh jajaran dekanat, para ketua dan sekretaris program studi (Pendidikan Dokter, Profesi Dokter, D3 Keperawatan, D3 Kebidanan, Sarjana Farmasi, Sarjana Kebidanan, dan Profesi Bidan), tim GKM, tim AMI, tim tracer prodi, serta sejumlah pimpinan unit di lingkungan FKIK. Keterlibatan berbagai pemangku kepentingan ini mencerminkan komitmen kolektif terhadap kualitas.
Sesi utama RTM meliputi pemaparan hasil tindak lanjut AMI tahun sebelumnya, capaian dan temuan AMI tahun berjalan, serta identifikasi risiko seperti rendahnya keterlibatan dosen dalam riset internasional dan tantangan kelulusan tepat waktu. Sesi diskusi berjalan interaktif, mengungkap sejumlah solusi dan praktik terbaik antarprodi.
Rapat juga menghasilkan Rencana Tindak Lanjut (RTL) yang bersifat operasional dan terukur, dengan pembagian tugas yang jelas. Beberapa poin strategis RTL mencakup Revisi Rencana Induk Pengembangan (RIP) SDM, Pengembangan sarana pembelajaran dan pelatihan, Peningkatan implementasi MoA dan perluasan kerja sama dan Koordinasi antarunit (UP2M, laboratorium, SDM, MEU, SAU, Komisi Etik) dalam pendataan dan pemantauan berbasis satu pintu.
Isu strategis seperti peningkatan jumlah dosen S3 dan optimalisasi dana penelitian turut dibahas dengan pendekatan perencanaan jangka panjang yang melibatkan dukungan penuh dari UPPS dan universitas. Seluruh hasil RTM akan terdokumentasi dalam sistem penjaminan mutu internal FKIK yang terintegrasi dengan mekanisme monitoring dan evaluasi berkala. FKIK Unismuh berkomitmen untuk terus berbenah dan berinovasi guna melahirkan lulusan unggul dan Islami yang mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata di bidang kegawatdaruratan dan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat.
