Faculty of Medicine Unismuh Makassar as the Hosts of Regional Deliberation IV Indonesian Medical Student Executive Boards Association (IMSEBA) 2024
Makassar, December 12, 2024 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (FK Unismuh) has once again demonstrated its commitment in supporting the development of medical students by hosting the Regional Deliberation IV of the Indonesian Medical Student Executive Boards Association (IMSEBA) in 2024. This prestigious activity will be attended by delegates from various medical faculties in the East Java, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua regions, and is an important momentum to strengthen the synergy between medical students in this region.
ISMKI Region IV Deliberation is a strategic forum that aims to evaluate work programs, elect new management, and formulate organizational policy directions for the coming year. As the host, FK Unismuh will be the center of discussion and decision making that will have a broad impact on the development of medical students at the regional level.
In his speech, Vice Dean III of FK Unismuh, dr. Asdar, Sp. B, expressed his pride for the trust given to FK Unismuh to host the event. “We are honored to be able to organize the Regional Deliberation IV Indonesian Medical Student Executive Boards Association (IMSEBA) 2024. This activity is a great opportunity for FK Unismuh to contribute in building collaboration and innovation in the health sector through medical students. We are ready to welcome all delegates with a spirit of togetherness,” he said.
The president of the FK Unismuh Student Executive Board, Muhammad Faisal, also expressed his enthusiasm for FK Unismuh’s role as host. “Being the host is both an honor and a big responsibility for us. We are committed to organizing this activity well and providing the best experience for all participants,” he said.
In addition to the formal agenda, FK Unismuh will also introduce Makassar’s local culture and potential to the participants through cultural and tourism activities specifically designed to promote local wisdom.
The ISMKI 2024 Regional Conference IV is expected to not only produce progressive policies, but also strengthen relationships between medical faculties in the Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua regions. FK Unismuh hopes that this activity can be a starting point to strengthen the role of medical students in supporting health development in Indonesia.
