MAKASSAR — The Leadership of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Commissariat of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh) for the 2025/2026 period was officially inaugurated as part of a series of activities including the Inauguration Ceremony, Leadership Meeting (Tarpim), and Leadership Working Meeting (Rakerpim). The event was held at Theater Room 2, 4th Floor, Campus II of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Samata, on Friday (13/2/2026).

The event carried the theme “Strengthening IMMTajdid to Realize a Progressive, Intellectual, and Transformative IMM FK Unismuh.” The inauguration was attended by the Vice Dean IV of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, dr. Ihsan Jaya, M.H., the Chairperson of the IMM Branch Leadership of Makassar City, Firman Karim, as well as representatives of PIKOM IMM from across Makassar.

The event proceeded solemnly, beginning with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the inauguration ceremony and oath-taking of office, along with remarks from the commissariat leadership, the outgoing leadership, the branch leadership, and representatives from the faculty.

The Chairperson of PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh for the 2025/2026 period, Dwiputra Rezky Agung, emphasized that the inauguration was not merely a ceremonial event, but rather the beginning of responsibility and dedication within the organization.

“This inauguration is not merely ceremonial, but represents a commitment to serve the association and the Muhammadiyah movement,” he stated.

He further explained that the theme serves as the guiding direction for the new administration in realizing the spirit of IMMTajdid. According to him, these values serve as a foundation for encouraging the commissariat to become more progressive, strengthening intellectual traditions, and implementing programs that have tangible impacts.

Meanwhile, the outgoing Chairperson for the 2024/2025 period, Rahul Rahman, described the leadership transition as a momentum for organizational evaluation and improvement.

He expressed hope that the new leadership would bring IMM FK Unismuh toward greater progress and utilize past experiences as a basis for evaluating and sustaining future programs.

The Chairperson of the IMM Branch Leadership of Makassar City, Firman Karim, emphasized that organizational activities represent a form of dedication by cadres after joining the Muhammadiyah Student Association.

According to him, medical students need to strengthen their scientific discipline and promote academic discussions at the commissariat level in order to produce credible cadres within their respective fields.

From the faculty side, the Vice Dean IV of FMHS Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, dr. Ihsan Jaya, M.H., expressed hope for stronger synergy between the commissariat and the faculty.

He noted that student organizations constitute an integral part of the academic environment, playing a significant role in shaping students’ character and leadership.

The inauguration also formally confirmed the organizational structure of PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh for the 2025/2026 period, covering the core leadership as well as various organizational divisions.

Following the inauguration, the event continued with the Leadership Meeting (Tarpim) aimed at strengthening leadership capacity and aligning the organizational direction. The series of activities concluded with the Leadership Working Meeting (Rakerpim), serving as a forum for consolidation and the formulation of work programs.

With the completion of the entire series of activities, the leadership of PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh for the 2025/2026 period has officially begun its term of service. The leaders hope that the spirit of IMMTajdid will be realized through concrete programs that strengthen progressive, intellectual, and transformative movements within FMHS Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.

PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh Makassar Dilantik, Usung Semangat IMMTajdid yang Progresif dan Transformatif

MAKASSAR — Pimpinan Komisariat Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh) periode 2025/2026 resmi dilantik dalam rangkaian kegiatan pelantikan, Tarpim, dan Rakerpim yang digelar di Ruang Teater 2, Lantai 4 Kampus II Unismuh Makassar, Samata, Jumat (13/2/2026).

Kegiatan tersebut mengusung tema “Meneguhkan IMMTajdid untuk Mewujudkan IMM FK Unismuh yang Progresif, Intelektual, dan Transformatif.” Pelantikan dihadiri oleh Wakil Dekan IV FKIK Unismuh Makassar dr. Ihsan Jaya, M.H., Ketua Umum PC IMM Kota Makassar Firman Karim, serta perwakilan PIKOM IMM se-Kota Makassar.

Rangkaian acara berlangsung khidmat, diawali dengan pembacaan ayat suci Al-Qur’an, dilanjutkan prosesi pelantikan dan pengambilan sumpah jabatan, serta sambutan dari pimpinan komisariat, demisioner, pimpinan cabang, dan pihak fakultas.

Ketua Umum PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh periode 2025/2026, Dwiputra Rezky Agung, menegaskan bahwa pelantikan bukan sekadar agenda seremonial, melainkan awal dari tanggung jawab dan pengabdian dalam berorganisasi.

“Pelantikan ini bukan hanya seremonial, tetapi menjadi bentuk komitmen pengabdian kepada ikatan dan perserikatan,” ujarnya.

Ia menjelaskan, tema yang diangkat menjadi arah gerak kepengurusan baru dalam mewujudkan semangat IMMTajdid. Menurut dia, nilai tersebut menjadi pijakan untuk mendorong komisariat lebih progresif, memperkuat tradisi intelektual, serta menghadirkan program yang berdampak nyata.

Sementara itu, Demisioner Ketua Umum periode 2024/2025, Rahul Rahman, menyebut pergantian kepemimpinan sebagai momentum evaluasi dan perbaikan organisasi.

Ia berharap kepengurusan baru mampu membawa IMM FK Unismuh menjadi lebih baik serta menjadikan pengalaman sebelumnya sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk keberlanjutan program.

Ketua Umum PC IMM Kota Makassar, Firman Karim, menekankan bahwa aktivitas organisasi merupakan wujud pengabdian kader setelah bergabung di Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah.

Menurut dia, mahasiswa kedokteran perlu memperkuat disiplin keilmuan serta mendorong kajian-kajian akademik di tingkat komisariat guna melahirkan kader yang kredibel di bidangnya.

Dari pihak fakultas, Wakil Dekan IV FKIK Unismuh Makassar, dr. Ihsan Jaya, M.H., berharap sinergi antara komisariat dan fakultas semakin kuat.

Ia menilai organisasi kemahasiswaan merupakan bagian dari ruang akademik yang berperan dalam membentuk karakter dan kepemimpinan mahasiswa.

Pelantikan ini sekaligus mengukuhkan struktur kepengurusan PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh periode 2025/2026, mulai dari pengurus inti hingga bidang-bidang.

Usai pelantikan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan Tarpim sebagai upaya penguatan kapasitas kepemimpinan dan penyamaan persepsi arah gerak organisasi. Rangkaian kegiatan kemudian ditutup dengan Rakerpim sebagai forum konsolidasi dan perumusan program kerja.

Dengan berakhirnya seluruh rangkaian kegiatan, kepengurusan PIKOM IMM FK Unismuh periode 2025/2026 resmi memulai masa bakti. Para pimpinan berharap semangat IMMTajdid dapat diwujudkan melalui program-program nyata yang memperkuat gerakan progresif, intelektual, dan transformatif di lingkungan FKIK Unismuh Makassar
