MAKASSAR — The Hasanuddin Medical Sport Competition (HamedSCO) 2025, an annual sporting event that brings together medical and health sciences students from across South Sulawesi, was held once again this year. The event took place from 30 November to 4 December 2025 at the JK Arenatorium (Unhas Sports Hall).

The competition, which involved various medical and health education institutions, commenced following a registration period from 1 to 21 November 2025. HamedSCO 2025 featured several sports branches, including basketball, futsal, and volleyball. Participant enthusiasm appeared to increase compared to the previous year.

In the men’s basketball category, the team from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar, achieved a notable accomplishment by securing third place. The FKIK Unismuh team demonstrated an impressive performance, maintaining consistency from the preliminary rounds through the semifinals.

This achievement was warmly welcomed by the students and academic community of Unismuh Makassar. Faculty representatives stated that this success reflects not only the academic excellence of the students but also their ability to excel in sports at the regional level.

The HamedSCO 2025 committee expressed hopes that the competition will continue to serve as a platform for fostering camaraderie and providing opportunities for health sciences students to showcase their non-academic talents. With the growing number of participants each year, the event is expected to become one of the largest intercollegiate health student sports competitions in Eastern Indonesia.

FKIK Unismuh Makassar Raih Juara 3 Basket Putra di HamedSCO 2025

MAKASSAR — Kompetisi olahraga mahasiswa kedokteran kembali digelar melalui Hasanuddin Medical Sport Competition (HamedSCO) 2025, sebuah ajang tahunan yang mempertemukan para mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran dan ilmu kesehatan se-Sulawesi Selatan. Acara yang berlangsung pada 30 November hingga 4 Desember 2025 ini dipusatkan di JK Arenatorium (GOR Unhas).

Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh berbagai institusi pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan tersebut dibuka setelah masa pendaftaran yang berlangsung sejak 1 hingga 21 November 2025. HamedSCO 2025 menghadirkan sejumlah cabang olahraga seperti basket, futsal, dan bola voli. Antusiasme peserta tampak meningkat dibanding tahun sebelumnya.

Dalam kategori basket putra, tim dari Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar berhasil mencatatkan prestasi dengan meraih Juara 3. Perjalanan tim FKIK Unismuh dinilai impresif, terutama berkat performa stabil sejak babak penyisihan hingga semifinal.

Prestasi ini disambut antusias oleh para mahasiswa dan civitas akademika Unismuh Makassar. Pihak fakultas menilai keberhasilan tersebut menjadi bukti bahwa mahasiswa tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang akademik, tetapi juga mampu bersaing dalam bidang olahraga di tingkat regional.

Panitia HamedSCO 2025 berharap kompetisi ini dapat terus menjadi ajang silaturahmi sekaligus wadah bagi mahasiswa kesehatan untuk menunjukkan kemampuan non-akademik mereka. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta setiap tahun, gelaran ini diprediksi akan menjadi salah satu kompetisi olahraga antar-mahasiswa kesehatan terbesar di kawasan Indonesia Timur.
