FKIK Unismuh Refines 2025/2026 Work Program through Annual Work Meeting
Makassar, July 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar held its Annual Work Meeting (Raker) for the Faculty and Study Programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event took place over two days, from July 28 to 29, 2025, at Claro Hotel Makassar, and was attended by 66 participants, including faculty leaders, lecturers, and staff from various departments within FKIK.
This Annual Work Meeting is a regular agenda of FKIK Unismuh, reflecting its commitment to the principles of good governance—emphasizing transparency, accountability, fairness, and independence in the formulation and implementation of work programs at both the faculty and program levels.
Dean of FKIK Unismuh, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), officially opened the meeting and highlighted the importance of synergy among all elements within the faculty to achieve the strategic goals that have been set. “This meeting serves as a platform to align our perspectives on the education and administrative systems, while jointly designing a more targeted work program,” she stated in her opening remarks.

In the report on the realization of the work program, Vice Dean II, Dr. Irwan Ashari, M.Med.Ed, emphasized the importance of transparent and well-targeted financial management. “All activities carried out during the previous academic year have referred to the RKAT and have been routinely reported and evaluated. Financial reporting is conducted accountably and audited by the University’s Internal Audit Board,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Group (GKM), in the session evaluating the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU/IKT), highlighted the need for improvement in periodic monitoring and evaluation. “We observed an increase in IKU achievements in several study programs, but documentation and reporting still need strengthening. This will be our shared focus in the coming academic year,” he noted.
The agenda also included group discussions in several commissions (A, B, C, D), which reviewed the work programs of each unit and study program, followed by a plenary session presenting the results of these discussions. The meeting concluded with a wrap-up session involving all participants.
The main outcome of this Work Meeting was the formulation of the Annual Work and Budget Plan (RKAT) for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for the 2024/2025 academic year, along with increased active participation from all study programs in implementing their respective work plans.
In addition to faculty leaders, the meeting also involved representatives from all study programs under FKIK, including the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, Medical Profession Program, Nursing, Midwifery, and Pharmacy Programs, as well as supporting units such as the Medical Education Unit (MEU), Academic and Student Affairs Unit (SAU), Research and Community Service Unit (UP2M), Laboratory Unit, Clinical Skills Lab, National Medical Competency Exam (UKMPPD) team, and others.
This meeting served as a strategic momentum for FKIK Unismuh to continuously enhance the quality of higher education governance—ensuring it remains professional, efficient, and transparent—in support of the university’s mission to become an excellent and trusted institution.
Makassar, 28 Juli 2025 – Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menggelar Rapat Kerja (Raker) Fakultas dan Program Studi untuk tahun akademik 2024/2025. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama dua hari, pada 28–29 Juli 2025, di Hotel Claro Makassar, dan diikuti oleh 66 peserta dari berbagai unsur pimpinan, dosen, dan staf di lingkup FKIK.
Kegiatan Raker ini merupakan agenda tahunan FKIK Unismuh sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap prinsip tata pamong yang baik (good governance), yang mengedepankan transparansi, akuntabilitas, keadilan, dan kemandirian dalam penyusunan dan pelaksanaan program kerja fakultas dan prodi.
Dekan FKIK Unismuh, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), secara resmi membuka kegiatan dan menyampaikan pentingnya sinergi antarelemen dalam fakultas untuk mencapai target-target strategis yang telah ditetapkan. “Raker ini menjadi ruang menyatukan persepsi dalam sistem pendidikan dan administrasi, sekaligus merancang program kerja bersama yang lebih terarah,” ujarnya dalam sambutan.
Dalam laporan realisasi program kerja, Wakil Dekan II dr. Irwan Ashari, M.Med.Ed, menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang transparan dan tepat sasaran. “Seluruh kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan selama tahun akademik sebelumnya telah mengacu pada RKAT dan secara rutin kami laporkan serta evaluasi. Proses pelaporan keuangan dilakukan secara akuntabel dan diaudit oleh Badan Audit Internal Universitas,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua GKM, dalam sesi evaluasi capaian Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU/IKT), menyoroti perlunya perbaikan pada aspek monitoring dan evaluasi secara periodik. “Kami melihat ada peningkatan capaian IKU dari beberapa prodi, namun perlu penguatan dalam pendokumentasian dan pelaporan. Ini menjadi fokus kita bersama dalam tahun akademik mendatang,” tuturnya.
Agenda Raker juga mencakup diskusi kelompok dalam komisi-komisi (A, B, C, D) yang membahas program kerja dari masing-masing unit dan prodi, serta pleno penyampaian hasil diskusi. Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan sesi wrap-up bersama seluruh peserta.
Output utama dari Raker ini adalah tersusunnya Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Tahunan (RKAT) Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan untuk tahun akademik 2024/2025, serta meningkatnya partisipasi aktif seluruh prodi dalam pelaksanaan program kerja masing-masing.
Selain unsur pimpinan fakultas, kegiatan ini juga melibatkan perwakilan dari seluruh program studi di bawah naungan FKIK, yaitu Prodi Pendidikan Dokter, Profesi Dokter, Keperawatan, Kebidanan, dan Farmasi, serta unit-unit pendukung seperti MEU, SAU, UP2M, Unit Laboratorium, Clinical Skill Lab, UKMPPD, dan lainnya.
Raker ini menjadi momentum strategis FKIK Unismuh untuk terus meningkatkan mutu tata kelola pendidikan tinggi yang profesional, efisien, dan terbuka dalam mendukung misi universitas menuju institusi yang unggul dan terpercaya.
