Makassar – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Management of the FKIK Unismuh Website. The event took place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the FKIK Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building F, FKIK Unismuh Makassar.

The FGD brought together faculty leaders, lecturers, staff, and student representatives to discuss strategies for more effective website management. The discussion focused on utilizing the website as a central hub for academic, research, and community service information.

The FKIK Unismuh website has long served as the faculty’s official communication platform. With improved management, the digital portal is expected to provide accurate, reliable, and accessible information for the entire academic community as well as the general public.

Dean of FKIK Unismuh, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), emphasized the importance of website management in the era of digitalized education. “A website is not merely an information display, but also a representation of FKIK Unismuh’s quality and spirit. Therefore, its management must be taken seriously so that it remains relevant and beneficial for all stakeholders,” she stated.

Prof. Suryani further noted that the FKIK Unismuh website will serve as a strategic tool to strengthen the faculty’s reputation both nationally and internationally. “We are committed to making the website a modern platform that supports transparency and academic services,” she added.

Chair of the FGD Committee, dr. Baso Nuzul Maqfir, stressed that the activity was also part of a broader socialization effort. “This activity serves as a form of socialization of the FKIK Unismuh Website, and it is expected that through this event, all members of the FKIK academic community—both lecturers and staff—can actively contribute to building and developing the website, as well as making it a representative, reliable, and accessible information hub,” he explained.

Dr. Baso also expressed hope that the discussion would generate concrete steps for improving the website’s content, design, and system integration. “Feedback from all participants will be an important foundation to ensure that the website truly meets user needs,” he added.

Through this FGD, FKIK Unismuh reaffirmed its commitment to building more professional information management. The faculty’s website is expected to serve not only as an information portal but also as a symbol of openness, accountability, and readiness to embrace digital transformation in health education.

Website FKIK Unismuh Jadi Pusat Informasi, FGD Bahas Strategi Pengelolaan

Makassar – Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menggelar Focus Group Discussion (FGD) tentang Pengelolaan Website FKIK Unismuh. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada Kamis, 18 September 2025, di Ruang Rapat FKIK, Lantai 2 Gedung F FKIK Unismuh Makassar.

FGD tersebut menghadirkan pimpinan fakultas, dosen, staf, dan perwakilan mahasiswa untuk membahas strategi pengelolaan website agar lebih optimal. Diskusi diarahkan pada pemanfaatan website sebagai pusat informasi akademik, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat.

Website FKIK Unismuh selama ini berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi resmi fakultas. Dengan adanya pengelolaan yang lebih baik, diharapkan portal digital tersebut mampu memberikan informasi yang akurat, terpercaya, dan mudah diakses oleh seluruh sivitas akademika maupun masyarakat umum.

Dekan FKIK Unismuh, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan website dalam era digitalisasi pendidikan. “Website bukan sekadar etalase informasi, tetapi juga menjadi representasi kualitas dan semangat FKIK Unismuh. Karena itu, pengelolaannya harus serius agar selalu relevan dan bermanfaat bagi semua pihak,” ujarnya.

Prof. Suryani menambahkan bahwa website FKIK Unismuh akan menjadi sarana strategis dalam memperkuat citra fakultas, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. “Kami berkomitmen menjadikan website sebagai platform modern yang mendukung transparansi dan pelayanan akademik,” katanya.

Ketua Panitia FGD, dr. Baso Nuzul Maqfir, menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya sosialisasi. “Kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk sosialisasi Website FKIK Unismuh dan diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini, seluruh sivitas akademika FKIK Unismuh baik dosen maupun staf dapat lebih aktif berkontribusi dalam membangun dan mengembangkan Website FKIK Unismuh serta menjadikan website sebagai pusat informasi yang representatif, terpercaya, dan mudah diakses,” ungkapnya.

dr. Baso juga berharap agar hasil diskusi dapat menghasilkan langkah konkret untuk memperbaiki konten, tampilan, serta integrasi sistem dalam website. “Masukan dari seluruh peserta akan menjadi bahan penting untuk memastikan website benar-benar menjawab kebutuhan pengguna,” tambahnya.

Melalui FGD ini, FKIK Unismuh menegaskan komitmennya dalam membangun tata kelola informasi yang lebih profesional. Website fakultas diharapkan menjadi simbol keterbukaan, akuntabilitas, serta kesiapan menghadapi tantangan transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan kesehatan.
