Makassar, July 11-13, 2025 – The Executive Board of Students (BEM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah (FK-UNISMUH) Makassar for the 2024/2025 period, proudly announced the grand event titled “IMMERSE & SHARING SESSION (International Muhammadiyah Medical Seminar & Exchange)”. This event is a manifestation of BEM FK-UNISMUH’s commitment to broaden students’ international perspectives and prepare them to face global challenges in the medical field.

IMMERSE & SHARING SESSION is designed as a comprehensive platform bringing together experts and practitioners from various parts of the world to share knowledge and experience. This seminar not only focuses on the latest medical developments but also equips participants with essential skills for an international career.

The seminar and sharing sessions will feature prominent speakers, including:

• Japan: dr. Andi Utomo Pangnguriseng, Ph.D.
• Korea: drg. Kezia Rachellea Mustakim, MSD, Ph.D.
• Australia: Al Adi Fitrah, M.Pd, M.App.Ling., M.Ed.TESOL, and Mr. Todd Dias.
• United States: Abdul Hakim, S.Pd., MA.

In addition to the seminar sessions, the event also includes practical workshops highly relevant for students:

• Essay Writing Workshop: Led by Muhammad Risqullah Ammar, S.Ked., this session will guide participants in composing effective and engaging essays, a crucial skill for scholarship applications and scientific publications.
• Development Project Material: Guided by Ikhwandi Chandra Nugraha, this workshop will equip participants with knowledge and strategies for developing innovative projects.

Furthermore, IMMERSE & SHARING SESSION also organizes an Interview Session presented by Dr. Hardian Nugraha. This session will provide valuable opportunities for participants to get tips and tricks for facing interviews, whether for scholarships, internships, or jobs.
