MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, conducted a Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) Evaluation Workshop for the Undergraduate Medical Education Program and the Medical Professional Education Program on June 16, 2026. Held at the FMHS Meeting Room, the workshop formed part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academic quality assurance through a systematic and sustainable evaluation of graduate competencies.

The workshop brought together faculty leaders, representatives from the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, the Medical Professional Education Program, the Medical Education Unit (MEU), the Student Assessment Unit (SAU), lecturers, resource persons, and facilitators. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, enabling participation both onsite and online.

In his remarks, the faculty leadership emphasized the importance of Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) evaluation as a key component of implementing an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum. Through this approach, educational success is measured not only by the completion of instructional content but also by the extent to which graduates achieve the competencies established in accordance with the National Higher Education Standards and the Indonesian Medical Doctor Competency Standards.

The workshop featured a keynote session on the concept and implementation of Outcome-Based Education-oriented CPL evaluation based on the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Regulation (Permendiktisaintek) No. 39 of 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. dr. Ami Febriza Achmad, M.Kes., who highlighted the importance of aligning Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), Sub-Course Learning Outcomes (Sub-CPMK), teaching and learning methods, assessment instruments, and structured evaluation mechanisms.

The program continued with presentations on the mapping of CPL, CPMK, Sub-CPMK, indicators, and assessment instruments within both the Undergraduate Medical Education Program and the Medical Professional Education Program. Through these sessions, participants reviewed the alignment of learning outcomes with graduate profiles, medical education competency standards, and curriculum development needs aimed at ensuring high-quality graduates.

The workshop discussions generated valuable recommendations regarding the refinement of CPL achievement analysis rubrics, the mapping of learning outcomes to courses and professional clinical stages, and the strengthening of evaluation systems that can be implemented periodically to support academic decision-making. Participants emphasized the importance of developing indicators that are specific, measurable, relevant, and observable to ensure an accurate assessment of student competency achievement.

The Head of the Medical Education Unit (MEU), together with the facilitation team, guided discussions on follow-up action plans, including the refinement of CPL mapping documents, the enhancement of assessment instruments, the systematic collection of CPL achievement data, and the establishment of reporting mechanisms integrated into the academic quality assurance cycle.

Through this workshop, FMHS Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the quality of medical education through continuous curriculum evaluation and improvement. The outcomes of the workshop are expected to serve as a foundation for strengthening assessment systems, improving learning processes, and enhancing the quality of graduates from both the Undergraduate Medical Education Program and the Medical Professional Education Program, enabling them to become competent, professional, and globally competitive medical practitioners.

The CPL Evaluation Workshop also forms part of FMHS Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar’s broader efforts to support institutional quality enhancement and accreditation processes through the implementation of a more effective, measurable, and sustainable educational evaluation system.

Implementasi Outcome-Based Education, FKIK Unismuh Makassar Gelar Workshop Evaluasi CPL

MAKASSAR – Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menggelar Workshop Evaluasi Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL) Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Dokter dan Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Dokter pada Selasa, 16 Juni 2026. Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Ruang Rapat Lantai 2 FKIK Unismuh Makassar ini menjadi bagian dari upaya penguatan sistem penjaminan mutu akademik melalui evaluasi ketercapaian kompetensi lulusan secara terukur dan berkelanjutan.

Workshop tersebut dihadiri unsur pimpinan fakultas, program studi, Medical Education Unit (MEU), Student Assessment Unit (SAU), dosen, narasumber, dan fasilitator. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara hybrid untuk memungkinkan partisipasi peserta baik secara luring maupun daring.

Dalam sambutannya, pimpinan FKIK Unismuh Makassar menegaskan pentingnya evaluasi CPL sebagai bagian dari implementasi kurikulum berbasis capaian atau Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Melalui pendekatan ini, keberhasilan proses pendidikan tidak hanya diukur dari tersampaikannya materi pembelajaran, tetapi juga dari tingkat ketercapaian kompetensi lulusan yang telah ditetapkan sesuai Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi dan Standar Kompetensi Dokter Indonesia.

Workshop menghadirkan materi utama mengenai konsep dan implementasi evaluasi CPL berbasis Outcome-Based Education berdasarkan Permendiktisaintek Nomor 39 Tahun 2025 yang disampaikan oleh Dr. dr. Ami Febriza Achmad, M.Kes. Pada sesi tersebut, peserta memperoleh pemahaman mengenai pentingnya keterkaitan antara CPL, Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK), Sub-CPMK, metode pembelajaran, instrumen asesmen, serta mekanisme evaluasi yang terstruktur.

Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan pemetaan CPL, CPMK, Sub-CPMK, indikator, dan instrumen asesmen dari Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Dokter dan Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Dokter. Melalui sesi ini, peserta melakukan telaah terhadap kesesuaian rumusan CPL dengan profil lulusan, standar kompetensi dokter, serta kebutuhan pengembangan kurikulum yang berorientasi pada mutu lulusan.

Diskusi workshop juga menghasilkan berbagai masukan terkait penyempurnaan rubrik analisis ketercapaian CPL, pemetaan CPL ke mata kuliah dan tahap profesi, serta penguatan sistem evaluasi yang dapat digunakan secara berkala sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan akademik. Peserta menekankan pentingnya indikator CPL yang spesifik, terukur, relevan, dan dapat diamati agar proses evaluasi mampu memberikan gambaran yang akurat mengenai pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa.

Ketua Medical Education Unit (MEU) bersama tim fasilitator memandu diskusi penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut yang meliputi penyempurnaan dokumen pemetaan CPL, penguatan instrumen asesmen, pengumpulan data ketercapaian CPL secara sistematis, serta penyusunan mekanisme pelaporan yang terintegrasi dalam siklus penjaminan mutu program studi.

Melalui kegiatan ini, FKIK Unismuh Makassar menunjukkan komitmennya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kedokteran melalui evaluasi kurikulum yang berkelanjutan. Hasil workshop diharapkan menjadi landasan bagi penguatan sistem asesmen, perbaikan proses pembelajaran, serta peningkatan kualitas lulusan Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Dokter dan Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Dokter yang kompeten, profesional, dan berdaya saing. Workshop Evaluasi CPL ini juga menjadi bagian dari upaya FKIK Unismuh Makassar dalam mempersiapkan dokumen akademik yang mendukung peningkatan mutu institusi dan akreditasi program studi melalui penerapan sistem evaluasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, terukur, dan berkelanjutan.
