Preparing for Standardized Competency Assessment, FMHS Unismuh Makassar Conducts OSCE Blueprint Workshop for CSL I, III, and V
MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, conducted a Training of Trainers (TOT) Program and Workshop on the Development of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Blueprints for Clinical Skills Laboratory (CSL) I, III, and V for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on June 14, 2026.
The activity forms part of FMHS Unismuh Makassar’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of clinical skills education and ensuring that student competency assessments are conducted in a standardized, objective manner aligned with established learning outcomes.
Through the training and workshop sessions, lecturers and clinical instructors were equipped with knowledge and practical guidance on developing OSCE blueprints integrated with the Clinical Skills Laboratory (CSL) curriculum. The development of a well-structured blueprint is essential to ensuring that each examination station effectively measures students’ clinical competencies in a comprehensive and balanced manner.
In addition to strengthening instructor capacity, the workshop served as a platform for discussion and consensus-building regarding the development of clinical skills assessment instruments. By establishing a shared understanding and standardized framework, the implementation of OSCE examinations is expected to become more effective while producing valid and reliable assessment outcomes.
The organizing committee expressed hope that the program would contribute to the continuous improvement of medical education quality at FMHS Unismuh Makassar, particularly in strengthening competency-based learning. The blueprints developed through this workshop will serve as the primary reference for the implementation of OSCE assessments in CSL I, III, and V during the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
Through this initiative, FMHS Unismuh Makassar reaffirms its commitment to maintaining excellence in educational processes and academic assessment, with the ultimate goal of producing competent, professional, and future-ready medical graduates capable of addressing the evolving challenges of healthcare services.

Siapkan Evaluasi Kompetensi yang Terstandar, FKIK Unismuh Makassar Gelar Workshop Blueprint OSCE CSL I, III, dan V
MAKASSAR – Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menggelar Pelatihan Instruktur (Training of Trainers/TOT) dan Workshop Penyusunan Blueprint Soal Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Clinical Skills Laboratory (CSL) I, III, dan V Tahun Akademik 2025/2026 pada Sabtu, 14 Juni 2026.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya FKIK Unismuh Makassar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran keterampilan klinik serta memastikan proses evaluasi kompetensi mahasiswa berjalan secara terstandar, objektif, dan sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan.
Melalui pelatihan dan workshop tersebut, para dosen dan instruktur dibekali pemahaman mengenai penyusunan blueprint soal OSCE yang terintegrasi dengan materi Clinical Skills Laboratory (CSL). Penyusunan blueprint menjadi langkah penting untuk memastikan setiap stasiun ujian mampu mengukur kompetensi klinis mahasiswa secara komprehensif dan proporsional.
Selain memperkuat kapasitas instruktur, kegiatan ini juga menjadi wadah diskusi dan penyamaan persepsi dalam pengembangan instrumen penilaian keterampilan klinik. Dengan adanya standar yang sama, pelaksanaan OSCE diharapkan dapat berlangsung lebih efektif serta menghasilkan penilaian yang valid dan reliabel.
Panitia pelaksana berharap kegiatan ini dapat mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan kedokteran di FKIK Unismuh Makassar, khususnya dalam penguatan pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi. Blueprint yang disusun melalui workshop ini akan menjadi acuan dalam pelaksanaan OSCE CSL I, III, dan V pada Tahun Akademik 2025/2026. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, FKIK Unismuh Makassar terus menunjukkan komitmennya dalam menjaga kualitas proses pendidikan dan evaluasi akademik guna menghasilkan lulusan dokter yang kompeten, profesional, dan siap menghadapi tantangan pelayanan kesehatan di masa depan.
