The university extends its warmest congratulations to the scientific essay delegation of WASCO X INSM 2025 and the official representative of MARC in the Indonesian National Scientific Meeting (INSM) 2025, held by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Warmadewa in Bali from 14 to 17 August 2025. Carrying the overarching theme “SHIELD for TRID: Strengthening health innovations and efforts to limit the development of travel-related infectious disease,” this national forum brings together medical students from across Indonesia to discuss innovative responses to infectious diseases linked to travel and mobility.

Dwiputra Rezky Agung proudly represents MARC in the scientific essay competition at the Warmadewa Aesculapius Scientific Competition (WASCO) 2025. Through his participation, Dwiputra contributes ideas in line with the SHIELD for TRID concept, emphasizing the importance of research-based innovation to detect, prevent, and control travel-related infectious diseases in an era of high global mobility. His role also reflects MARC’s commitment to strengthening the culture of scientific writing and critical thinking among medical students.

Meanwhile, Andi Chelsa Imelyand Medina, serving as Assistant Vice President Internal of BAPIN ISMKI and Shalsa Anindita Laga as President of MARC-FK Unismuh, will attend the Indonesian National Scientific Meeting (INSM) 2025 as the official delegate of MARC-FK Unismuh. In INSM, she is expected to engage in strategic discussions, mid-term program evaluations, and collaborative forums among scientific institutions, ensuring that MARC’s perspectives are represented in national decision-making processes related to scientific development and organizational governance.

The simultaneous presence of Dwiputra in the essay competition, Andi Chelsa and Shalsa Anindita Laga in the national meeting illustrates a strong synergy between scientific achievement and organizational leadership within MARC. This delegation is hoped to strengthen networks, inspire other students to be active in scientific competitions and national forums, and contribute to innovation in managing travel-related infectious diseases for the benefit of public health in Indonesia.
