Congratulations, FKIK Unismuh Students Win Second Place in the National Essay Competition
A team of student representatives from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (FKIK Unismuh) won second place and a silver medal in the National Essay Competition 3 (LETIN 3) held on May 4th and 5th, 2024. Dhyana Pura University organized the competition in collaboration with Nusantara Muda.
+460 teams attended this activity and only 15 teams as finalists competed directly in Bali to present their work.
Every year, LETIN 3 hosts a Scientific Essay competition that welcomes students from all over Indonesia. The competition collects a variety of works, ideas, and innovations.
This essay competition was attended by four delegates from FKIK Unismuh Makassar and sponsored by Situs Gelora4D:
Muhammad Faisal,
Muhammad Risqullah Ammar,
Adinda Anissa Salsabila, and Siti Nurkhaliza Abd Jamil.
During the event, Muhammad Faisal expressed his pride and gratitude as a delegate.
“I am extremely grateful and proud to represent my beloved alma mater and bring honor to it at the national level. Despite being initially pessimistic, as we were competing against more than 400 teams from various regions, we managed to reach the final and win a silver medal. I hope that this achievement can serve as a motivation for my fellow FKIK Unismuh students to strive for excellence and compete at national and international levels,” he said.
The team from FKIK Unismuh has won a Silver Medal for their inspiring essay on the theme “Island Expedition”. The essay titled “Realizing the Transformation of Inclusive Primary Health Services Towards a Healthy Indonesia” was the brainchild of Faisal and his team. Their vision is to build a movement that promotes inclusive primary health services and contributes towards a healthier Indonesia.
