Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) is a medical student competition organized by the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) throughout East Indonesia which will then be continued at the next level, namely the International Indonesia Medical Olympiad (IMO) in 2022 in Surabaya.

This year’s RMO will be held at the Faculty of Medicine, Pattimura University, Ambon July 11-16, 2022.

Therefore, the Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) 2022 delegation has just been released by the Dean of FKIK Unismuh.

The number of teams representing the Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Unismuh Makssar as many as 6 teams with a total delegation of 12 people who participated in the competition:

The Dean of FKIK Unismuh, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, Sp.GK (K), M.Sc. in her speech stated “Winning and losing is something that must happen in a competition, but the delegates must have a winning mentality and show their best. And at every opportunity always involve Allah, dhikr and bersholawat to the Apostle so that everything is facilitated and blessed.”

In addition, the Chairman of BEM-FK Unismuh, Muhammad Risqullah Ammar hopes that this activity will be the first step to increase the capacity and capability of Unismuh medical students in the regional, national and even international regions and all of this requires the cooperation and collaboration of all parties, especially the leadership of FKIK Unismuh Makassar.
