The Muhammadiyah Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, on Tuesday, June 14, held a blood donation event in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross and KSR PMI UNISMUH MAKASSAR. The activity, which took place in the FKIK Unismuh Hall, was warmly welcomed by the enthusiasm of prospective donors. There were hundreds of participants who intended to donate their blood until Tuesday afternoon, and 60 of them were eligible.

No wonder if the registrants of donor participants are booming, because each participant gets an attractive gift from the organizer of the activity, IMM FK Unismuh. Not only that, each participant also received a door prize coupon with an attractive prize, which was announced at the end of the activity.

This blood donation activity was also coupled with a webinar agenda on the previous day and an agenda for distributing parcels of blood supplement tablets in the afternoon which were distributed on the Unismuh Makassar campus, after the blood donation activity took place.

This activity is one of the work programs of the FK Unismuh IMM SPM field to accommodate people who want to donate blood, as a form of IMM service. This activity is also based on Q.S Al Maidah verse 32 “And whoever preserves the life of a human being, it is as if he has preserved the life of all human beings” said Nurul Qalby, the head of the IMM 2021/2022 period when met at the event location.
