Students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar have once again achieved remarkable success by securing second place in the prestigious Atmacordis Aesculapius 2024 competition. Held from April 17–21, 2024, the event revolved around the theme “Comorbidities and Complications of Diabetes Mellitus: How it Presents A Looming Public Health Crisis and the Groundbreaking Endeavors Taken Against It” and attracted participants from renowned universities across Indonesia.

The team, consisting of Ikhwandi Candra Nugraha and Shalsa Anindita Laga, stood out among dozens of participants. With thorough preparation, solid teamwork, and unwavering dedication, they delivered an exceptional performance that earned them second place in the scientific poster category.

Atmacordis Aesculapius 2024, organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, is a flagship event designed to foster analytical thinking, creativity, and scientific exploration among students.
