STUDEN EXECUTIVE BOARD ORGANIZES COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITY BY ITS MEMBERS AND CLOSING CEREMONY IN MANDALLE VILLAGE TOGETHER WITH FACULTY LEADERSHIP
In his opening speech, [Dr. Asdar Sp.B], Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine at Unismuh, expressed deep appreciation for the dedication of BEM FK Unismuh members. “This initiative reflects the spirit of humanity and concern for public health. I am proud to see our young people contributing to the common good. As leaders, we feel at home again because Mandalle Village is also a Muhammadiyah village.
Health Education:
BEM FK Unismuh members conducted an informative health education session where participants gained insights into various aspects of health, including healthy eating habits, the importance of exercise, and disease prevention. Practical guidance was provided to improve a healthy lifestyle and prevent hypertension.
Health Check-ups:
In an effort to provide direct and beneficial health services, a medical team consisting of medical students and healthcare professionals conducted free health check-ups for the surrounding community. Health screenings included blood pressure measurements, blood sugar tests, and other health parameters.
Mass Circumcisions:
As part of their commitment to public health, BEM FK Unismuh members collaborated with professional medical personnel to organize a mass circumcision event. The aim of this event was to provide easy and safe access to circumcision procedures for those in need. In this activity, a total of 100 individuals underwent mass circumcisions.
The community-supported Baksos event demonstrated the dedication of BEM FK Unismuh members to actively contribute to improving community welfare through meaningful social activities.
