BEM FK UNISMUH BECOMES THE BEST IMPLEMENTING INSTITUTION OF ADOPTED VILLAGE ACTIVITIES

Malang – The 12th Regional Congress of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) in Region 4 was held at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang (FKIK UIN Malang) from January 5th to 8th, 2023. This annual and largest forum for medical students aims to foster camaraderie, present work program accountability reports, determine the tenderization holders of activities, and select the next regional management secretary. The 12th Regional Congress of ISMKI in Region 4 was attended by at least 85 medical students from Region 4, covering East Java to Papua. The attendees included the Regional Executive Board (PHW) of ISMKI, Student Executive Board (BEM) Chairperson, and other student delegates from the Faculty of Medicine.

The series of activities for the 12th Regional Congress started with the Welcoming Party, followed by the presentation of work program accountability reports and the selection of tenderization holders of activities and the next regional management secretary. It concluded with the Farewell Party and the award ceremony.

During the award night, BEM FK Unsimuh was nominated as the best implementing institution of Adopted Village Activities in Region 4. After evaluating factors such as village development concepts, participation of village residents, and the impact of activities on the village, it was decided that BEM FK Unsimuh became the best implementing institution of Adopted Village Activities and deserved the award. The Chairperson of BEM FK Unsimuh expressed gratitude and pride for the bestowed recognition to the institution.

“This is a moment of gratitude and pride for our institution, and it could not have been achieved without the cooperation of the entire community, especially the university leadership and the management of BEM FK Unsimuh’s Adaptive Cabinet. May this serve as inspiration for future community empowerment and development activities,” said Muhammad Risqullah Ammar, the Chairperson of BEM FK Unsimuh 2021/2022.

The series of farewell activities concluded solemnly and ended with a city tour and a visit to Flora Wisata Santerra De Laponte, Batu. Subsequently, the delegates departed from Malang and returned to their respective regions.
