Makassar — The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, through the Research and Community Service Management Unit (UP2M), held the Muhammadiyah Research Grant (RisetMu) Batch X Workshop and Proposal Clinic for the 2026/2027 Academic Year on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The activity, held at the FMHS Unismuh Makassar Hall, was aimed at enhancing the quality and readiness of research and community service proposals to be submitted under the RisetMu grant program.

RisetMu is a flagship program of the Muhammadiyah Central Board’s Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development, aimed at improving the quality of research and community service, strengthening research capacity, and enhancing the competitiveness of Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah higher education institutions. In Batch X for the 2026/2027 academic year, RisetMu offers a range of research and community service schemes with varying requirements, expected outputs, Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), partnership requirements, and applicant qualifications.

The workshop was specifically designed around a proposal clinic approach rather than a conventional training program on proposal development from the initial stage. Participants were FKIK Unismuh Makassar faculty members who had already prepared proposal drafts covering at least 80 percent of the required content. Accordingly, the workshop focused on in-depth proposal review, identifying weaknesses from a reviewer’s perspective, and strengthening the substantive quality of the proposals to enhance their readiness for submission to RisetMu Batch X.

The activity featured Prof. Dr. Agustan, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Prof. Dr. Syamsia, S.IP., M.P. as resource persons. The first session focused on strategies for securing RisetMu grants, particularly through strengthening the research gap, novelty, and reviewer-oriented perspectives in research proposals. Participants then received guidance on developing competitive and impactful community service proposals, covering key aspects ranging from partner-related issues to the formulation of appropriate intervention programs.

The main session continued with two Parallel Proposal Clinic classes: Class A for research proposals, facilitated by Prof. Agustan and the UP2M team, and Class B for community service proposals, facilitated by Prof. Syamsia and the UP2M team. Participants received review notes, prioritized revision recommendations, and opportunities to revise their proposals directly while consulting with the facilitators. The proposals were subsequently categorized internally according to their level of readiness, ranging from ready for submission, minor revision, and major revision, to proposals requiring further intensive assistance.

Through this initiative, UP2M FMHS Unismuh Makassar aims to establish a comprehensive database of faculty RisetMu proposals, map proposals according to their respective schemes, improve their substantive quality, and increase the number of FMHS proposals submitted to RisetMu Batch X. The activity also represents a strategic step toward strengthening a culture of research and community engagement within FMHS Unismuh Makassar, ensuring that the proposals produced not only fulfill administrative requirements but also demonstrate strong, rigorous, and competitive academic substance.

Menuju Proposal Kompetitif, FKIK Unismuh Makassar Gelar Workshop dan Proposal Clinic RisetMu

Makassar — Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar melalui Unit Pengelola Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (UP2M) menggelar Workshop dan Proposal Clinic Hibah Riset Muhammadiyah (RisetMu) Batch X Tahun 2026/2027, Sabtu (12/9/2026). Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Aula FKIK Unismuh Makassar sebagai Upaya meningkatkan kualitas dan kesiapan proposal penelitian serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan diajukan dalam program hibah RisetMu.

RisetMu merupakan program unggulan Majelis Pendidikan Tinggi Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah yang diarahkan untuk meningkatkan mutu penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, kapasitas riset, serta daya saing Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah dan ‘Aisyiyah. Pada Batch X Tahun 2026/2027, RisetMu menyediakan sejumlah skema penelitian dan pengabdian dengan persyaratan, target luaran, tingkat kesiapterapan teknologi (TKT), kebutuhan mitra, serta kualifikasi pengusul yang berbeda.

Workshop ini secara khusus dirancang dengan pendekatan proposal clinic, bukan sekadar pelatihan penyusunan proposal dari tahap awal. Para peserta merupakan dosen FKIK Unismuh Makassar yang telah memiliki draft proposal minimal 80 persen. Melalui pendekatan tersebut, kegiatan difokuskan pada bedah proposal, identifikasi kelemahan dari sudut pandang reviewer, serta penyempurnaan substansi proposal agar semakin siap untuk diajukan pada RisetMu Batch X.

Kegiatan menghadirkan Prof. Dr. Agustan, S.Pd., M.Pd. dan Prof. Dr. Syamsia, S.IP., M.P. sebagai narasumber. Sesi pertama membahas strategi memenangkan hibah RisetMu melalui penguatan research gap, novelty, hingga perspektif reviewer pada proposal penelitian. Selanjutnya, peserta mendapatkan materi mengenai strategi menyusun proposal pengabdian yang kompetitif dan berdampak, mulai dari permasalahan mitra hingga perumusan program.

Memasuki sesi utama, peserta dibagi ke dalam dua kelas Parallel Proposal Clinic, yakni Kelas A untuk proposal penelitian bersama Prof. Agustan dan Tim UP2M serta Kelas B untuk proposal pengabdian bersama Prof. Syamsia dan Tim UP2M. Peserta memperoleh catatan review, daftar revisi prioritas, serta kesempatan melakukan revisi langsung dan konsultasi terhadap proposal masing-masing. Proposal kemudian akan dipetakan secara internal berdasarkan tingkat kesiapan, mulai dari siap submit, revisi minor, revisi mayor, hingga proposal yang masih memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan.

UP2M FKIK Unismuh Makassar menargetkan terbentuknya database proposal RisetMu dosen, pemetaan proposal berdasarkan skema, peningkatan kualitas substansi proposal, serta bertambahnya jumlah proposal FKIK yang diajukan pada RisetMu Batch X. Kegiatan tersebut sekaligus menjadi langkah strategis untuk memperkuat budaya riset dan pengabdian di lingkungan FKIK Unismuh Makassar, sehingga proposal yang dihasilkan tidak hanya memenuhi persyaratan administratif, tetapi juga memiliki substansi yang kuat dan kompetitif.
