Workshop on RPS and Portfolio Development Strengthens Academic Quality Standards Across All Study Programs at FKIK Unismuh Makassar
MAKASSAR – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, organized a Workshop on the Development of Semester Learning Plans (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester/RPS) and Academic Portfolios for All Study Programs on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at the FMHS Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Samata, Gowa Regency. The workshop formed part of the faculty’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the quality of teaching and learning through the development of academic documents aligned with national higher education standards, outcome-based curricula, and the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K)., Subsp.KM. The event was attended by heads of study programs, department chairs, faculty members, and curriculum development teams representing all study programs within the faculty. Throughout the workshop, participants received guidance on developing Semester Learning Plans (RPS) integrated with Graduate Learning Outcomes, as well as academic portfolios that serve as supporting documents for teaching, learning, and academic assessment.
In her opening remarks, Prof. Suryani emphasized that the preparation of RPS documents and academic portfolios should not merely be viewed as an administrative requirement, but rather as a strategic instrument for ensuring that the teaching and learning process is systematic, measurable, and focused on achieving graduate competencies.
“The Semester Learning Plan and academic portfolio are fundamental pillars of educational quality assurance. Through this workshop, we aim to ensure that every study program develops learning documents that are fully aligned with the curriculum, Graduate Learning Outcomes, and the evolving demands of the workforce and scientific advancement. By establishing a common academic standard across all programs, we will further strengthen the quality and sustainability of education at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences,” said Prof. Suryani.
During the workshop, participants engaged in discussions on aligning Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), learning strategies, assessment methods, and portfolio development as evidence of students’ competency attainment. This comprehensive approach is expected to produce learning documents that are more systematic, adaptive, and aligned with both national and international quality assurance and accreditation standards.
The workshop also served as a platform for harmonizing academic perspectives among faculty members in developing consistent learning documents across all study programs. Establishing uniform standards for the preparation of Semester Learning Plans and academic portfolios is expected to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process while facilitating continuous academic quality evaluation.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving academic governance, strengthening its culture of quality, and producing competent, professional, and globally competitive healthcare graduates.

Workshop Penyusunan RPS dan Portofolio, FKIK Unismuh Makassar Perkuat Standar Mutu Pembelajaran Seluruh Program Studi
MAKASSAR – Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar menggelar Workshop Pembuatan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dan Portofolio untuk Seluruh Program Studi pada Sabtu, 18 Juli 2026, di Gedung FKIK Unismuh Makassar, Samata, Kabupaten Gowa. Kegiatan tersebut menjadi bagian dari komitmen fakultas dalam memperkuat mutu pembelajaran melalui penyusunan perangkat akademik yang selaras dengan standar pendidikan tinggi, kurikulum berbasis capaian pembelajaran, serta implementasi Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
Workshop dibuka secara resmi oleh Dekan FKIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K)., Subsp.KM. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh pimpinan program studi, ketua departemen, dosen, serta tim pengembang kurikulum dari seluruh program studi di lingkungan FKIK Unismuh Makassar. Melalui workshop tersebut, peserta mendapatkan pendampingan dalam menyusun RPS yang terintegrasi dengan capaian pembelajaran lulusan serta portofolio sebagai dokumen pendukung proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi akademik.
Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Suryani menegaskan bahwa penyusunan RPS dan portofolio bukan sekadar pemenuhan dokumen administrasi, tetapi merupakan instrumen penting dalam memastikan proses pembelajaran berlangsung secara sistematis, terukur, dan berorientasi pada pencapaian kompetensi lulusan.
“RPS dan portofolio merupakan fondasi penting dalam menjamin mutu pendidikan. Melalui workshop ini, kita ingin memastikan seluruh program studi memiliki perangkat pembelajaran yang selaras dengan kurikulum, capaian pembelajaran lulusan, serta kebutuhan dunia kerja dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Dengan standar yang sama, kualitas pembelajaran di FKIK Unismuh akan semakin kuat dan berkelanjutan,” ujar Prof. Suryani.
Selama kegiatan, peserta berdiskusi mengenai penyelarasan antara capaian pembelajaran lulusan (CPL), capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah (CPMK), strategi pembelajaran, metode asesmen, hingga penyusunan portofolio sebagai bukti ketercapaian kompetensi mahasiswa. Pendekatan tersebut diharapkan mampu menghasilkan dokumen pembelajaran yang lebih komprehensif, adaptif, dan sesuai dengan standar akreditasi nasional maupun internasional.
Workshop juga menjadi forum penyamaan persepsi antardosen dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang konsisten di seluruh program studi. Keseragaman standar penyusunan RPS dan portofolio diharapkan dapat mendukung efektivitas proses pembelajaran sekaligus memudahkan evaluasi mutu akademik secara berkelanjutan.
