Muhammadiyah University of Makassar Wins 2nd Place in the Ar-Razi Competition 2024
Makassar, 13-15 September 2024 — In a remarkable display of academic excellence, students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar secured second place in the prestigious Ar-Razi 2024 Competition. The competition, held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in Makassar, South Sulawesi, revolved around the theme “Global Perspective in Obstetric and Gynecology Emergency Care.”
The team, consisting of Muh. Amrullah and Rivgi Afandy, outperformed dozens of teams from various universities across Indonesia. This success was the result of meticulous preparation, high dedication, and solid teamwork.
The Ar-Razi Competition serves as an important platform for students to explore their research potential and enhance their academic abilities. One of the most popular categories is the Literature Review Competition, which challenges participants to conduct an in-depth analysis of various literature sources, such as books, journals, and articles, on a specific topic. Participants are then required to compile a written work that includes synthesis, analysis, and evaluation of these sources.
