Makassar – Participants in the Baitul Arqam program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar have shown high enthusiasm in taking part in the series of activities held this week. This program, which plays a crucial role in character building and reinforcing Islamic values, has been actively embraced by FKIK students from various study programs.

Dr. Nurdin Mappa, MM., the Master of Training (MoT) for the Baitul Arqam program at FKIK Unismuh, stated that the program aims to cultivate a strong Islamic character among FKIK lecturers and staff, as well as deepen their understanding of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values. “We are very proud to see the enthusiasm shown by the participants. This proves that the lecturers and staff of FKIK Unismuh Makassar have a high commitment to strengthening Islamic values and building strong character,” he said.

Baitul Arqam participants also received various core materials, including Tawhid, Worship According to Tarjih Muhammadiyah, Challenges for Muhammadiyah Doctors in the Disruption Era, Methods for Understanding Islam, Work Ethic of Muhammadiyah Cadres, and Guidelines for Islamic Life according to Muhammadiyah (PHIWM).

In this Baitul Arqam session, four outstanding participants were selected based on the following categories: Highest Pre-test Score, Highest Post-test Score, Most Favorite Participant, and Best Participant.

With the high level of enthusiasm from participants, the Baitul Arqam program at FKIK Unismuh is expected to produce healthcare professionals who are not only excellent in their fields but also possess strong Islamic character and integrity.

This program is planned to be continuously developed to further strengthen the character of FKIK Unismuh Makassar’s lecturers and staff, creating a positive academic environment that contributes positively to students, the community, and the faith.
