Makassar, September 21, 2025 – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine (BEM FK) at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar (Unismuh) successfully concluded the Advanced Level Student Leadership and Management Training (LKMM-SK).

Carrying the theme, “Generational Reconstruction: Strengthening Future Leaders by Aligning Value, Vision, and Action as Iron Stock,” the activity aimed to cultivate student leaders with integrity and a strong vision. This intensive four-day event took place from September 18 to 21, 2025, at the Sudiang Hajj Dormitory in Makassar.

This year’s LKMM-SK focused on building leadership character and capacity by aligning three main pillars: value, vision, and action. The participants, who are core members of various student organizations (Ormawa), were trained not only to manage organizations strategically but also to understand the essence of leadership as an agent of change. The material covered included leadership ethics, conflict management, formulating vision and mission, and program execution aligned with student values.

M. Fikhri Ramadhan, Chairman of the LKMM-SK 2025 Committee, explained that the chosen theme reflects the need for robust young leaders.

“We realize that future leaders must have a strong foundation, not just in terms of managerial skills, but also in the integrity and values they hold. This LKMM-SK is a platform for us to train prospective ‘iron stock’ who are ready to become resilient leaders with a clear vision, capable of turning challenges into opportunities,” said M. Fikhri Ramadhan.

Adi Fahja Said, Chairman of BEM FK Unismuh, emphasized the importance of commitment and real action after the training.

“The three pillars—value, vision, and action—must go hand in hand. A vision without action is merely a dream, and action without value will only lose direction. This LKMM-SK is not just about theory, but a call to action. I hope the spirit of generational reconstruction we have built here will continue to burn brightly and be realized in every program and decision made to advance our faculty,” stated Adi Fahja Said.

Dr. Asdar, Sp.B, Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and AIK of FK Unismuh, closed the event and expressed his appreciation for the BEM’s initiative.

“I am very proud to see BEM FK Unismuh dare to raise such a deep and fundamental theme. The formation of true leaders is not only measured by intellectual intelligence but also by emotional and spiritual intelligence. This LKMM-SK has become a vital instrument in creating the best cadres who will continue the relay of leadership in the future. I hope the participants can apply the knowledge and values gained to bring about real change in society,” concluded Dr. Asdar, Sp.B.

With the conclusion of this LKMM-SK, BEM FK Unismuh once again affirms its commitment to preparing students who are ready to become transformational leaders and make meaningful contributions to the nation.
