FKIK Unismuh Judicium Graduates 21 Doctors and 4 Medical Graduates
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar held a Yudisium and Oath Taking for 21 doctors and 4 medical graduates. The event was held at the FKIK Unismuh Hall, Jl Sultan Alauddin, Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
This Yudisium is the 29th for Professional Doctor Education, and the 38th batch for medical graduates.
Unismuh leaders who attended were Rector Prof. Ambo Asse, Chairman of BPH Prof. Gagaring Pagalung, Vice Rector IV Drs KH Mawardi Pewangi MPdI. FKIK leaders who attended were Dean Prof. Dr. Suryani As’ad, Sp. GK (k), vice deans and FKIK lecturers.
Before taking the doctor’s oath and promise, it began with a recitation filled by the Deputy Chairman of the South Sulawesi PWM Drs H Mawardi Pewangi MPd.I.
The Vice Chancellor IV of Unismuh in his lecture quoted the hadith of the Prophet about useful humans, “The best of humans are the most useful for others”.
Rector of Unismuh Makassar Prof. Ambo Asse in his speech reminded that the promise that has been read as a doctor and medical graduate can really be lived.
“Be a good doctor and a doctor who provides many benefits to others. Doctors do nothing in this life except goodness,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of BPH Unismuh Prof. Gagaring Pagalung also appreciated the achievements of FKIK students with a GPA of 3.0 and above and some even reached a GPA of 4.0.
“This indicates that the academic process is running in accordance with what is mandated in medical standards,” said Prof. Gagaring.
BPH, continued Prof. Gagaring, is ready to support FKIK towards international accreditation. “We are also ready to assist Midwifery, Nursing and Pharmacy Study Programs in efforts to improve professional education,” he said.
He also mentioned the operation of PKU Muhammadiyah Unismuh Makassar Hospital. “We hope that in early August this year it can come out, so that it can operate and at the same time the process of building the 12-story FKIK Unismuh building will also be carried out,” Gagaring said.
Meanwhile, Dean of FKIK Prof. Suryani As’ad said that the graduates of doctors and medical graduates who were graduated were those who had passed the educational process at FKIK Unismuh.
He continued, the achievement of A accreditation shows that FKIK has carried out 9 accreditation criteria well, starting from the vision and mission, management of governance, aspects of students and graduates, and others have met the standards.
