Two Delegates from FKIK Unismuh Invited as Presenters at Global Conference Cooperation at KOAMEX 2024
Daegu, South Korea – On June 22, 2024, two presenters from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (FKIK Unismuh) were invited to present at the Global Conference Cooperation at KOAMEX (Korea International Advanced Medical Equipment & Medicine Expo) 2024 held in Daegu, South Korea. The event is part of KOAMEX 2024 and organized by K-MediHub, an Association for Artificial Intelligence Development in Medical Equipment and Medicines in Daegu-Gyeongbuk.
Prof. Dr. dr. Suryani As’ad, M.Sc., Sp.GK(K), and dr. Dzar Fadli El Furqan each presented papers titled “Potential of Local High-Protein Foods and Their Application in Patient Care” and “From Nature to Personalized Care – Utilizing the Potential of Plants in Maintaining Health Environments,” respectively.
The event was inaugurated by President KMediHub, Yang Jinyoung, who emphasized the commitment to fostering global collaboration in the development of artificial intelligence for healthcare and medical products. The conference sessions commenced with a networking introduction by Juntra Laothavorn from Thamassat University, providing a crucial foundation for in-depth discussions attended by medical researchers and academics from around the world.
The conference was divided into three sessions chaired by renowned experts in their respective fields. The first session was led by Im Hee Shin from Daegu Catholic University and Pope Kosalaraksa from Khon Kaen University. The second session featured Prof. Suryani As’ad from Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar alongside Sunton Wongsiri from Prince of Songkla University. The third session was chaired by Kwanchanok Yimtae and Yodchanan Wongsawat from Mahidol University.
The event provided a valuable platform for participants to share knowledge, expand professional networks, and explore potential collaborations aimed at enhancing innovation in global healthcare delivery.
