Panti Fest : Carry out the spirit of Ramadan, BEM FK Unismuh shares happiness at Al-Bahri Orphanage
Makassar, March 30, 2024 – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Unismuh held Panti Fest, in the form of an iftar together with orphanage children on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
This event was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine, the Head of the BEM FK, and the Head of the BEM FK Spirituality Department. The event, which was held at Al-Bahri Orphanage, aimed to strengthen the relationship and spirit of togetherness in carrying out worship in the holy month of Ramadan.
Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Asdar Sp. B., expressed his appreciation for the activity.
“This is a good opportunity for the entire campus community to gather, share stories, and strengthen social relationships,” he said.
Vice Chairman of BEM, Muhammad Ghivar Alnajib Palilati, also attended the event and delivered his message.
“Panti Fest is an activity initiated by the Spirituality Department of BEM FK UNISMUH with the aim of visiting orphanages to share love and affection, establish friendship, and as a means of self-muhasabah to always be grateful for all the blessings and sustenance that Allah SWT has given,” he said.
This event was coupled with breaking the fast together, educational games on Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) for orphanage children, and distribution of basic necessities.
“It is hoped that this Panti Fest can spread kindness in this holy month, spread love and affection between orphans, and can also strengthen friendship between people,” she added.
Meanwhile, Maharani, a representative of Kerohanian Department, added that Panti Fest was held to share with the orphans. “One sentence as motivation, ‘Sharing is another form of gratitude and share without expecting anything’,” she said.
