In the Environmental Sector, the Leadership of the Muhammadiyah Student Association, FK UNISMUH, carried out a Green Peace Day work program in Marusu District, Maros Regency. Green Peace Day is an activity in the form of a visit to a place to increase awareness and have a positive impact on the environment. In this work program, this time the work program handed over and planted tree seedlings to the Marusu sub-district, Maros district. Environmental Sector PIKOM IMM FK UNISMUH carries out activities in the form of planting and handing over tree seedlings to the Marusu sub-district, Maros Regency. This Green Peace Day activity was held on January 13 2024 in Marusu sub-district, Maros Regency. Planting trees is planting goodness, at the same time we improve the function of the forest and improve a healthy, comfortable and shady living environment. These tree seeds will be planted in arid places. Previously, Marusu sub-district was one of the rice fields as a business area for the people, but now most of the rice fields have been replaced with industrial warehouses which make the land increasingly barren, so Pikom IMM FK took the initiative to distribute shady tree seeds to re-green Marusu district through handing over mahogany tree seedlings to village gardens to be planted and cared for.
